(While Alan is experienced his ring simply doesn't have the same strength as a real corps ring ,as his was an earlier prototype from 814 BC and doesn't have the same strength , as well as his feats while Alan is very powerful Stewart has killed an entire world ,which happened to have a power ring at the time to)

Id say that while the batery for Alan's ring is not nearly as powerful as the main battery of the green lantern corps. He is attuned with it to the point where he can hold his own against hal jordan. He guy who obliterated the corp... we need a super hero rp)

(Limited as in not the full power of the batery, look my opinion is simply that Alan scott would win, i mean he defeated dr fate, held his own against Jordan , and made an absolute fool of Gardner plus im a huge JSA fan and no a bit less about Stewart)

(Ok ive done some research, it seems that the two are similarly matched in terms of construct power with john maybe coming out ahead by a little bit at his max. However i would say the additional mystical powers granted to Alan scott by the starheart, and his far Greater experience Would in my opinion win him the day)

So yeah or no to the super hero rp idea?

(They ret conned it dude , I ain't talking about new 52 either ,however I believe that John's background as an architect and marine corps history would give him more construct strength ,as his understanding of architecture is actually sated to give him more detailed and solid constructs , and his time in the army gives him better aim with constructs ,as well as a more tactical mind )

(The starheart took on a life of its own after the guardians left it but that's not the point. i just think that Alan's additional experience as a super hero, his incredible ingenuity, his constructs are power wise in the neighborhood of jones even if they weren't they're far above most members of the corps and his additional powers like invisibility, spell crafting, transmutation of objects , hypnosis, and limited manipulation of reality itself would win him the day)
